American Dance Institute Shoreline Reviews
ADI Shoreline dance studio is MY HAPPY PLACE. I go in to take adult beginner ballet class with excitement and leave with a smile on my face every time. The amazing instructors who really care, the clean and warmed up studio, the always available support staff, ability to make up classes that I missed...I am so glad I found this place so close to my house. I highly recommend!
Apr 09, 2025 · Ingrid HudakovaI decided to start dance again when I retired after not dancing for 25 years.. Dakota is a thoughtful teacher, making sure her older adult students have modifications to exercises if they have joint issues. I find her classes just the right amount of challenge both physically and mentally.
Apr 23, 2025 · Janet FosterMy 13 year old has grown so much in her ballet training with ADI. The staff are kind and inclusive. She looks up to them and loves being with her dance friends every week. Highly recommend!
Apr 21, 2025 · A BI am 64 years old. I discovered ADI Shoreline was a 4 block walk from my office. I dropped in on a Sunday just when Elizabeth was winding up an Adult Beginner class. I liked the studio from its perch above NE 175th St to its finely finished ballet bars. Elizabeth invited me to an Adult Beginner Ballet Class on Tuesday morning and I was hooked. I registered for the class and purchased Elizabeth's online classes, "Any Day Ballet." I am an overweight senior and not well coordinated, but I trusted Elizabeth when she said "all bodies are welcome."
Apr 11, 2025 · Kim LancasterI really wanted to give a 5 star review. My daughter did one of their week long dance camps where there was supposed to be a performance on Friday, the last day. We deceived an email it would be a 4 day camp due to the dance instructor having an appointment. Is and the other participants arrived at the dance studio Friday morning and no instructor. We waited and tried calling the phone number for 30 minutes before leaving. I tried calling that number again within an hour, finally getting someone on the phone. She was being helpful while not knowing what was going on. I get a call back a little while later explaining the dance instructor was having a wisdom tooth extraction, miscommunication on the dance studio side. When i asked the woman on the phone if she was going to notify the other family, she said she would send an email.Highly disappointing experience. The lack of professionalism in taking responsibility for NOT communicating with families promptly. Changing a 5 day camp to 4 days is one thing. Not having a single employee available or ready to step in to allow the children to hold their performance on the final day is inexcusable. We will not be returning or recommending ADI.
