The facility's core offerings of gymnastics and dance classes, along with open gym sessions, cater to a common need among parents: providing an outlet for children to expend energy and develop physical skills. For many local families, the opportunity for their kids to "get their wiggles out" in a dedicated environment is a significant benefit. The variety of activities aims to provide options for different preferences, whether a child is drawn to the structured discipline of gymnastics or the expressive movements of dance. In a community like Kingwood, where family-oriented services are often sought after, a local facility that focuses on children's physical development can be a valuable resource. It provides a specific venue for kids to be active, learn new skills, and potentially socialize with peers from their neighborhood.
However, prospective families should also consider the experiences of other local users as part of their decision-making process. Some past patrons have expressed concerns regarding significant price adjustments, particularly for open gym sessions, noting a substantial increase from $20 to $36. Customer feedback also highlights issues related to staff consistency and communication, with some parents reporting abrupt departures of coaches and a perceived lack of stable instruction, particularly for younger children. Specific criticisms have been raised about the approach of some coaches, described as unprofessional and unsuited for toddlers requiring patience and understanding. Furthermore, comments on facility maintenance, including cleanliness and the condition of restrooms, have been noted as areas of concern. These points suggest that while the facility offers a local option for children's activities, it's advisable for new families to visit, observe classes, and directly inquire about current programs, pricing, and staff consistency to ensure it aligns with their expectations for a positive and supportive environment for their children's physical development.

Alpha Omega Gymnastics & Dance Kingwood Reviews
I'll be honest and say my kids absolutely love this place. We only ever went to open gym for $20 every Friday, which wasn't bad, especially if we needed them to get their wiggles out. But they have changed their prices since summer started to a ridiculous $36. That's four dollars shy of double, that's an 80% increase. Why would you jump your price up that much in a single move?! Why would I pay that much when there are other alternatives? They must've lost their minds and a lot of customers.

I have been bringing my daughter to your facility since September 2024. Initially, I assumed the challenges were due to my daughter’s adjustment period. Over time, she began to feel more comfortable, largely thanks to Coach Faith, who demonstrated exceptional patience, kindness, and care. However, without any notice or explanation, she abruptly left the program. My daughter then began to form a connection with Coach Nevaeh, who was equally outstanding. She helped my daughter progress significantly and was also actively building a rapport with me as a parent. Yet again, without any communication, she was removed from the program. This revolving door of staff is unacceptable, especially for toddlers who rely on consistency and stability. The current coach, Savannah, is completely unfit to work with young children. Her approach is unprofessional and degrading. She frequently yells at my daughter from across the room, saying things like, “If you don’t listen, you’re not getting free time,” or “I’m not going to chase you all class.” She makes no effort to engage or connect with my child and instead chooses to reprimand her from a distance. This is not only ineffective but also harmful to my daughter’s experience. It is particularly disheartening considering that I am often on the floor actively teaching and guiding my daughter myself—despite paying for a service that is supposed to provide structured instruction. My daughter, who is only two years old and has a speech delay, requires additional patience and understanding—something both Faith and Nevaeh managed with grace. Savannah, however, has shown no empathy or willingness to adapt.I’ve spoken with another parent in the class who shares my concerns, further validating that these issues are not isolated. On top of all this, the recent price increase is absolutely unjustifiable given the current state of the program. We are being asked to pay the same rate as families with school-aged children, yet the level of attention and instruction offered to toddlers is significantly inferior. Moreover, the overall facility is poorly maintained. It often smells unpleasant, the women's restroom is frequently dirty or out of order, and the front desk staff consistently come across as unfriendly and unhelpful.I have given Alpha Omega numerous chances to improve, but the quality has only declined. With the continued turnover of competent staff, a lack of communication, unsanitary conditions, and a drastic price increase, I can no longer justify continuing my daughter’s enrollment. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

We've had our son enrolled since he was just 1 and his balance and agility have improved immensely compared to when he started. It's excellent to see him grow and learn new skills in a safe and friendly environment!
Apr 10, 2025 · Maxx GolbraykhDon’t do the camps. Trust me! They added all these extra fees and to top it off they don’t tell you the kids don’t have access to the whole gym a lot of the time!!! When I requested a refund because my daughter asked me to pick her up early and wasn’t going to go the rest of the week the refused. They did give her more time the last day but just too late!
Jun 17, 2025 · CamilaMy kids are always counting down their days to return! Everyone is so kind and the coaches are loving and attentive. We’ve participated in ballet, girls gymnastics and open gym - all have been wonderful.
