Its unique approach, tailored specifically for adults, addresses many common barriers to entry and provides a high-quality, supportive learning environment that resonates deeply with the local community's desire for enriching experiences.
One of the most compelling reasons for its suitability is its explicit focus on adult learners. While one review mentioned challenges in transitioning from beginner workshops to open classes and some administrative disorganization, the overwhelming sentiment emphasizes the quality of instruction and the profound impact on students' learning and enjoyment. The fact that a "professional ballet dancer with many years of professional experience" unequivocally recommends ALIGN Ballet Method for "not just for students but to professionals and anyone who wants to learn ballet in an amazing environment" speaks volumes about the caliber of training offered. This validation from within the ballet community underscores that ALIGN provides authentic, high-level ballet instruction that benefits all levels, from novice to seasoned dancer.
Furthermore, the physical studio itself, a "2000 square foot state of the art studio" centrally located between Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Culver City, offers exceptional accessibility for Los Angeles residents. This prime location, coupled with the availability of virtual classes, ensures that locals have flexible options to integrate ballet into their busy lives. The ability to join "small adult ballet communities" through their workshops also fosters connection and a sense of belonging, which is a significant draw for many seeking recreational and social activities within their local area.
In conclusion, ALIGN BALLET METHOD LOS ANGELES - BEVERLY HILLS stands out as a premier and highly suitable destination for Californian adults eager to learn or return to classical ballet. ALIGN BALLET METHOD LOS ANGELES - BEVERLY HILLS Reviews
I am a professional ballet dancer with many years of professional experience. I absolutely recommend Align Ballet Method not just for students but to professionals and anyone who wants to learn ballet in an amazing environment ! Kudos to Align ballet đź©°
Jun 04, 2025 · Raydel CaceresLinda is the best! She's the reason I stayed at Align Ballet (Align I and II). She is just perfect for teaching absolute beginners, going at a slow pace and explaining technique, which is so important for beginners. Her kind and friendly demeanor was an added bonus. I even drove two hours just to attend her class one weekend :)The school could do a better job transitioning the students however. I tried a Basic Open Class (w/ a different instructor) right after completing Align I and II, and I was lost. It was discouraging :( I think the school should either teach more steps in Align I/ Align II (to better prepare you for the next level), or they should slow the pace of the Basic Open classes.(Oh, and the admin part of the school seems a bit disorganized. There is no one to answer the phone and when I tried to contact someone for a make-up class (two times), no one ever got back to me. Linda was the reason I stayed at Align Ballet. Thank you Linda!
Apr 30, 2025 · Mary FarshiLove this place. It’s surprisingly difficult to find a ballet studio aimed at adults that isn’t a just a workout class under the covers. Michael is truly focused on the artistry of ballet and spends the time to develop each dancer. A gem — give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!
May 10, 2025 · Kirstie Shurgotfar and away the best and most extensive ballet training and classes for adult beginners and returnees. many locations and afull schedule days and nights and weekends! you will love it
Jun 09, 2025 · HarveyI'll start by saying that I have no dance background, do not have a consistent exercise schedule, and am not coordinated whatsoever and I still have a blast at Align Ballet Method.I always wanted to try ballet because it looks beautiful and I thought it would be a fun way to exercise and hopefully improve my posture. Recently I found out about Align Ballet Method and signed up for Align 1.Michael is the owner and instructor and is fantastic. He is very encouraging, wants people to learn but also wants you to have fun. As he said in one of the classes, "If you're waiting to have fun until you're good at ballet, you'll be waiting a long time. Have fun now and you'll improve over time."I have now finished Align 1 and 2 and am taking a short break before Align 3 (the drive from work to Align is my only complaint!). I would absolutely be in here every day if I could. The hour flies by, it's a fun group of people, the teacher is amazing, and the price is very reasonable (especially compared to most exercise classes in LA).If you're on the fence, try it. If you're like me, it will soon become the highlight of your week.
