Alessi Dance Factory Reviews
My daughter is a competitive dancer, and she is starting her 2nd year at Alessi Dance Factory (ADF). We left another Tampa dance studio after 5 years to come to ADF, and it was one of the best decisions I made for my daughter. It has been an awesome experience for my daughter and me! My daughter's technique has improved tremendously, she's more confident, and she's made a lot of good friends. The dance and artistic director, Helena Alessi, has created a friendly, supportive, and inclusive environment conducive for dancing and all forms of creativity. She encourages students to do their best and be their best selves they can be. So, in addition to dance, my daughter is taking musical theatre at ADF and improving her acting and singing skills. She now thinks Broadway is in her near future.😍 Also, Helena and the other dance artists are amazing choreographers. We can't wait for new dance season to start. I highly recommend Alessi Dance Factory!🥰
Jun 09, 2025 · Dana Thompson DorseyMy daughter has had an amazing experience since joining the competition team at Alessi. After coming from a different dance school with a team where she often looked sloppy and lacked proper technique, she has blossomed. In just a short time, her confidence has soared, her lower body strength has improved, and she’s learned to use her body more efficiently.Helena has created a supportive environment filled with trust and encouragement among the dancers. This positive atmosphere has completely changed my daughter’s attitude toward dance—she now eagerly pushes me out the door to get to class, a far cry from her previous dance team. We're so grateful for the transformation she's experienced at Alessi!
Oct 01, 2024 · Raquel JohnsonThe adult silk class was disappointing. The class started late, and with only one hammock available, each student had just one chance to try the move after a single demonstration. The silk itself had a strong, unpleasant odor of body odor and spices. The class lasted 60 minutes, but 20 minutes were spent on warmups, leaving little time for actual practice. The minimal time on the hammock—about 10 minutes per person—made the experience unproductive.

She has such a passion for dance and even went out of her way to give me a private lesson I was needing super last minute!! I cannot thank her enough and would recommend her to anyone! If you’re looking for a studio to join, or maybe some new lessons as a beginner dancer of ANY age, definitely try Alessi Dance Factory!!
