AAP Dance Reviews
I absolutely love AAP Dance Studio and the professional classes and techniques offered!!! I joined over a year ago and am so glad I made this well worth investment! The studio and Mrs. Andrea (Director) have helped me to blossom into the dancer I aspire to be. I have seen major growth in technique from day 1 until now as well learning all the history and knowledge of each class (Modern, Worship Dance) taken. I look forward to the upcoming fall classes. You will love this studio and I encourage you to check out the many classes offered :-) They offer adult classes as well!!
Jul 18, 2017 · WhitneyI had the opportunity to participate in the summer program this past summer and it was GREAT! The program was rightfully challenging which helped me to become an overall better dancer. Not only does Mrs. Andrea pushes students to be the best that they can be, but the class environment is professional and fun all at the same time. I recommend this studio to anyone looking for diversity and good lessons.
Jan 08, 2017 · Alandria ColemanI was an instructor for AAP when she first started in the New Beginnings church. Very appropriate for me as she was the first person I met when I moved to Orlando and the first to hire me. I've taught at many studios in my career and have been disappointed with hypothetical ideals of nurturing dancers in studio owners. Andrea is one of a kind. She's a rare find of someone who acts and executes her vision with fine organization, attention to EVERY small detail, and the technical prowess and fine education skills not only for her students but teachers as well. She is rare. Some teachers can show you the 'moves'. Some will show those moves and drill it. Some will focus on just the passion and tend to overlook the essential technical execution. Andrea is rare because she knows how to balance them all. Every person in her class feels better about themselves and life when they leave. She works full time in addition to running this business and she does it with grace and beauty, unlike any southern bells I've ever known. It's worth your time to try at least one class. That experience alone will make you feel better about life.
Aug 20, 2017 · Aileen MapesAAP dance had a lot of potential, but the business side of things were definitely deficient. The owner is wonderful with the kids, but cannot multitask when it comes to running the business. My daughter had over $400 in program advertisements ordered by family members because I really wanted to support her business, but Andrea never printed the programs out during the day recital and never reimbursed us or compensated us in any way. I wish her the best, she will no longer get our business.
Dec 23, 2018 · Phyllis BrownI chose this dance studio because of all the great feed back and what I read on the website. My experience definitely has a different view. The director, as I found out now, who she is left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I did not know that the summer camp did not have a dance recital, this wasn't mentioned in the conversation with the rep of AAP or the website. it is not something that is a given for anyone to automatically know. The parents could not stay and watch the children, which I understood that, but the second week we were told we could not stay inside and had to just drop off the kids and go. so, that eliminated me even trying to get a pic or video, because we weren't allowed to stay. I don't have any idea on what my grandchild did in that class or what I paid for. I am just very disappointed, because when I expressed my concerns to the director she got really frustrated and placed her phone down on mute and did not answer me when I responded with a hello on my line. she then hung up when she thought I was no longer on the phone. one day I was inside and was literally kicked out with my other grand baby in the POURING RAIN! I thought the director was rude and very unprofessional with me over the phone. I was going to sign up for the year long classes, but after this experience I will not be signing her up at AAP.If you want to make excuses for the unprofessional and rude way you handled the situation that is totally your right, but I have every right to post my experience with you and your studio. You don't have to agree with it. And Yes! I have found a great place...thanks for your concern.
