Haven Introduce
Hello, Californians! Are you a dancer, an aspiring pole artist, or simply someone looking for a private, comfortable space to move and create without judgment? In the bustling city of Los Angeles, finding a dedicated and personal practice environment can be a challenge. That's where Haven comes in – a unique and highly praised dance studio that offers a refreshing alternative to crowded classes and public spaces. This isn't your typical large-scale "dance hall" for big events; instead, Haven provides an intimate and focused setting designed for individual and small-group practice, making it a true gem for the local dance community.
Haven is celebrated by its users as a "super chill" and "ducked off dance studio," offering a tranquil retreat where creativity can flourish. It's particularly well-suited for those who might feel "shy to try out pole" in a group setting, providing a safe and private space to experiment and build confidence. For anyone in Los Angeles seeking an affordable and personal space to hone their craft, develop routines, or simply enjoy movement, Haven presents an ideal solution that puts your comfort and artistic expression first.
Haven is located at 2079 E 15th St Suite 236, Los Angeles, CA 90021, USA. This address places it within the broader downtown Los Angeles area, a vibrant and accessible part of the city. As with many urban locations, getting to the studio typically involves navigating city streets, and public transportation options may be available depending on your starting point. Users should be mindful of the specific area, as one review notes, "The area it’s in is not the best - I would recommend not going alone." This advice is common for many downtown areas in large cities, and taking standard urban precautions is always wise.
Despite the cautionary note about the immediate vicinity, the studio itself is described as a "ducked off" or tucked-away space, which often implies a private and secure environment once inside. Its location in Los Angeles makes it readily accessible for dancers residing throughout the city and surrounding communities, including those in Hollywood, Koreatown, Silver Lake, and parts of the San Gabriel Valley. Planning your travel and considering ride-sharing services or carpooling, especially during evening hours, can enhance your experience of reaching and leaving the studio.
Haven primarily offers services centered around private and semi-private studio rental, catering specifically to the needs of individual dancers and small groups. Its core offerings include:
- Private Studio Rental: The ability to "rent this space" makes Haven ideal for solo practice. This allows dancers to have complete privacy and freedom to explore their movements, experiment with new techniques, and perfect their routines without external distractions or pressures.
- Pole Dance Practice Space: A significant feature is the availability of "poles already set up in the room." This makes it an excellent choice for pole dancers of all levels, from beginners wanting to "get a feel of how it feels" to experienced practitioners refining advanced moves.
- Routine Development: With "the mirror in the layout are just gorgeous," the studio is perfectly equipped for developing and practicing dance routines. The large mirrors allow dancers to see their form and progress in real-time.
- Affordable Pricing: Customers highlight that "prices are reasonable," making high-quality, private dance studio access more attainable for a broader range of dancers, from professional artists to hobbyists.
- Customizable Space: The studio allows users to "make the space your own," indicating flexibility in how the rented area can be utilized for various dance styles and practice needs.
- Small Group Practice: While great for solo use, the space is also ideal for practicing with "friends" or for small group rehearsals, fostering collaborative creativity in a comfortable setting.
Haven stands out with several key features and highlights that contribute to its appeal and positive customer experiences:
- Privacy and Comfort: The primary highlight is the private nature of the studio rental. This offers a safe and non-intimidating environment, particularly beneficial for those who are "shy to try out pole" or prefer to practice away from the gaze of others.
- Pre-Installed Poles: For pole dancers, having "poles already set up in the room" is a huge convenience, eliminating the need to bring personal equipment or navigate complex setup.
- Excellent Mirror and Layout: The "gorgeous" mirror and optimal layout are crucial for dancers to effectively visualize and refine their routines, ensuring productive practice sessions.
- "Super Chill" Atmosphere: Customers consistently describe the studio as "super chill," conveying a relaxed and welcoming vibe that encourages creativity and stress-free practice.
- Affordability: The "reasonable prices" make Haven an accessible option for many, demonstrating good value for a private studio space in a major metropolitan area.
- Ideal for All Levels: Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, the private setting and available equipment cater to all skill levels.
- Sense of Ownership: The ability to "make the space your own" fosters a sense of creative freedom and personal connection to the practice environment.
- Positive Customer Experience (within the studio): Reviews overwhelmingly express love for the actual studio experience, highlighting a comfortable and effective practice setting once inside.

May 05, 2023 · Jazmine WarrenI really love this Studio. It's absolutely amazing! I enjoy the open Pole at any hours concept when you can dance and train at your own convenience. The lightning and the audio system are great. The poles are highly professional quality. If you want to make a video this is the place.
Sep 27, 2023 · Mira AmunThis place is magical. It's not your typical pole studio -- it's a turnkey high end dance practice space. Outfitted with fresh floors, natural daylighting and extensive colored lighting options, a great sound system, and even a shower to rinse when you're finished dancing. Make sure to clean up after yourself to keep this space special for all those that may enter after you. It's hard to beat the prices and location. I'm so glad a place like this exists in Los Angeles.
Nov 05, 2018 · Dru BramlettAs soon as I heard about the Haven concept - an open pole and dance space at all hours of the day - I was sold. My apartment isn't big enough to have a full dance space, and open pole time at studios are often during work hours. Haven is the perfect solution - not to mention, it's gorgeous, parking is convenient, the sound system is on point, the poles are fantastic, and you just feel good dancing there. I will be training here regularly!
